PRINCIPAL INTERIOR DESIGNER
Born in Scotland, Emma received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the Alberta University of the Arts, and her Interior Design Diploma in Montréal.
Emma stayed on in Montréal and began her design career working on high end residential projects including furniture design, before relocating to Calgary where she worked with an architect firm refining her skills in a variety of corporate and health care projects.
Not long after Emma decided to create her own interior design company focusing on working in collaboration with her individual clients to create one of a kind spaces that reflect each client.
In 2008 Emma founded Whiting Young Interior Design, focusing on residential projects including architectural planning for new builds and full & partial home renovations.
Inspired by her visual arts background, her work demonstrates a depth of understanding of the materials, of texture, and the aesthetic allure of well chosen detail.
